When I was young, I used to draw pictures a lot. Though I did not come from a family of artists, I had a strong passion for art particularly drawing. As a young boy, I dreamt of becoming a professional Manga artist. However, I became self-conscious about my talent because girls generally liked those boys who excelled in the field of sports or music rather than art. On top of that, I got busier studying in high school, so it kept me away from drawing. Then, I entered the university, started working in a big company, and almost never had the chance to draw pictures… Time has passed by and I am about to turn 40. I have reached the halfway point of my life, and now I am wondering, “What if I had chosen an art major and career?” It is never too late to restart, and now it is about time to truly enjoy the second half of my life doing what I love!
